Audrey: Adopted!'s Story
Date of birth: 10/15/2015

5/23/2018: "Don't I have the cutest face? I was born without eyelids which caused my eyelashes to brush against my eyes and cause me a lot of pain. But I had surgery to remove my eyelashes and now I have no pain. I do need a lubricating gel put in my eyes twice a day but I have no issues with that at all. I also have luxating patellas, which means my knee caps float around sometimes. But it causes no issues and has not proved to be a health concern for me.

I love all people and kids, especially anyone who will give me a belly rub! I also get along very well with other cats and would love to have a kitty companion in my new home. Once I get used to dogs, they're okay too. I'm really just a sweetie! You want a squinty eyed girl like me in your life, right?!"

Audrey is 2 years old and she has been been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for FIV and feline leukemia.

MORE ON ADOPTING OUR CATS...

Please visit our web site at HSGKC.ORG for more information about our adoption process, our adoption fees and all that's included, and for a pet adoption application.

> Our goal is to send you home with a healthy pet and any information and support you may need to help your new pet adjust to his or her new home. All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for FIV and feline leukemia. Kittens who are too young to receive all the necessary kitten boosters and/or first rabies shot may be brought back to us for those vaccines at no extra charge. Take advantage of our ADOPT-A-BUDDY program: Adopt two cats or kittens together at a greatly reduced adoption fee!

> Most of our cats are not confined in cages but instead live in our spacious and sunny cat rooms. It's a great environment for them, it allows us to get to know them well, and it's a nice environment for you to come in to visit -- and find your perfect match!

> An application is required to adopt a pet and applicants must meet our adoption requirements. If you decide you'd like to adopt one of our pets, we reserve the pet for you but we generally don't send the pet home with you that same day unless you've submitted an online applications and arrangements have been made prior to your visit.

Thank you for searching for a shelter pet!
