Meet Atticus-Male DSH kitten

Atticus is a male, black/white DSH kitten who joined our rescue with his siblings after being born indoors when their mom was found stray/pregnant

DOB approx March 29/24, Atticus has had a full vet assessment (healthy), dewormed and will have both of his FVRCP vaccinations prior to adoption

Atticus will need to return to our vet located in Arthur ON for his rabies vaccination and neuter surgery booked for Sept 3/24 (paid for by the rescue of course)

When first meeting Atticus he was immediately friendly and loved to get pets.

Atticus is far from the athlete of the group, he is a very goofy boy.
You will often see him running and tripping over himself or woefully misjudging the distance needed to make a jump.
This, in combination with his extra long whiskers and adorable head tilts when he is curious will always have you laughing.

When Atticus isn’t making a fool of himself he will be begging you for cuddles and attention. Atticus craves attention and is seeking a family who has lots of time for snuggles and playtime, he wouldn't be happy being left for long hours every day or being in a home where the family goes away often and just has pet sitters in for feeding.
Atticus adores his sisters and especially loves his sister Amira who is also available for adoption

They would love to be adopted as a pair, but if not, their new families must have another suitable, friendly playful welcoming cat for companionship to meet their needs. We do not adopt single kittens into homes without other suitable feline companions in order to meet their needs for socialization and companionship in order to thrive

Adoption fee $275 includes FVRCP vaccinations x 2, deworming x 2, rabies vaccination, neuter surgery, microchip

Adoption application

Hobo Haven is located in St Jacobs Ontario.
For approved families, we require in person meetings in St Jacobs ON
If you are not willing to drive to this location to meet our cats after you are approved, please do not apply.
We do not meet elsewhere nor deliver cats. Adoptions within Ontario only

For anyone possibly interested in adopting from Hobo Haven, here are a few, but not all, criteria to be aware of:

We require all serious applicants to watched "Petfooled" which is a free documentary at this link
, or on Amazon prime or also a variety of other free video sites.

Our motto is "know better/do better" and we ask all adoptive families to be as committed to providing pets with quality nutrition as they are to providing love. This documentary is not advertising, purely just educational.

An adoption application must be completed and approved, including vet references as well as a home visit (Zoom during COVID), prior to meeting available pets
All pets are placed in loving foster homes during their time with us, we do not have a shelter to visit.
We do not allow applicants to visit until pre-approved for adoptions. Our pets are in private foster family homes, not in a shelter.
Any questions may be emailed to

Due to the high volume of applications received , priority of replies will be given to applicants who meet the criteria mentioned in the pet's profile.

Please do not ask us to make exceptions, we set these protocols and policies for the pet's best interests which are always our highest priority.

Emails are best, our volunteers work full time and are often not able to answer or return phone calls in a timely manner.
