Athena's Story

Presenting the 'Gods and Goddesses' litter: Athena, Zeus, Ares and Selene! These four kittens were born outside on a rural property to a feral mom who disappeared when the kittens were about 2 ½ months old. A New Hope volunteer managed to trap them and has been doing a wonderful job raising and socializing them. Athena is a gorgeous goddess that likes to survey her kingdom. She is the most reserved of the litter and the only one with medium length hair. She is sweet, but cautious and likes pets on her terms. She would be best in a quiet home with older children, other cats and possibly a calm cat friendly dog. If there are no other pets in the home Athena will have to be adopted as a pair with another kitten since she is under 6 months old (born August 25). She is up to date on her vaccinations but will have to be returned to New Hope for her spay, microchip and any remaining boosters when she is old enough. The cost of this is included in her adoption fee of $250. Athena is still in her foster home in Kitchener and being shown there. If you are interested in meeting her, please contact us at 519-836-9780 (Monday-Friday 8am-3pm only) or by email at NHARescueguelph@gmail.com to set up an appointment!
