Meet Athena

Athena is a very sweet girl who had a very unfair start to life. Her and her siblings were kept isolated in a room and frequently scared by dogs. She prefers a home that is quiet and calm but NEEDS other cats!
Athena is gaining more trust for humans every day. She will need someone to adopt her that is patient and kind. She loves to be pet and enjoys tummy rubs. She loves to sit on the back on the couch but hasn't mastered lap sitting yet. With lots of love, Athena will grow to be a very loyal companion.
Athena has taken to all the cats in her fosters family's home. She instantly loved the new little kittens that came to live with her. She romps around with the bigger cats and has so much fun! She MUST have other cats who are friendly and playful and a sunny window to lounge in. This sweet girl deserves and amazing home, if this is you, please reach out to meet her.

Please note that all cats/kittens are fostered by different families. For this reason we are unable to answer specific questions about them. If you would like to meet them and learn more about them then please submit an application at http://rescued-treasures.com/cat-application/.
There foster family will follow up with you. Please note that submitting an application doesn't lock you into a commitment to adopt.

Before applying for this cat, please think the decision over thoroughly and make sure the whole family is in agreement. Owning a cat is a huge responsibility that is not something that should be rushed into. Each cat from Rescued Treasures has been saved from an uncertain future. If you are thinking about adopting, please remember it is a LIFE-LONG commitment. Cats can live to be at least 14 years old...are you ready to take care of him/her that long?
