Now she's looking for a forever family of her own, and she's more than ready to make up for lost time with endless love and companionship.<br/><br/>Athena is truly one of the sweetest cats you'll ever meet. She's a total Velcro kitty who wants to be wherever her people are. Whether you're working, watching TV, cooking dinner, or simply moving from room to room, don't be surprised to find Athena right by your side. Her favorite place is with her humans, though she's also quite fond of her hammock and any perch high enough to survey her kingdom.<br/><br/>She loves cuddling on the couch, sleeping in bed with her people, and soaking up all the affection she can get. Athena is incredibly gentle and relaxed. She'll happily show off her belly, accept pets, and enjoy playtime without ever resorting to biting, even in excitement. Her foster describes her as the calmest cat they've ever had.<br/><br/>When she's not busy supervising her humans, Athena enjoys laser pointers, feather toys, and a good play session. She's also highly food motivated and will absolutely let you know when she thinks it's mealtime. She's not shy about advocating for snacks!<br/><br/>One of her cutest habits is making biscuits while burying her nose into a soft blanket, as if she's trying to cuddle the fabric as much as possible. It's impossibly adorable.<br/><br/>Athena likely has a food allergy that causes some itchiness and hair loss, so she's currently thriving on an over-the-counter non-poultry diet. Aside from being a little particular about her menu, she's an easygoing, low-maintenance companion.<br/><br/>She gets along well with other cats and would do fine with older, respectful children who understand kitty boundaries.
