Athena is a beautiful 1-year-old girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s incredibly sweet and loves being near her people — following you around, keeping you company, and making sure you’re never alone on the couch.<br/><br/>She’s not quite a full lap cat yet, but she’s well on her way. Athena is what we lovingly call a “lap-adjacent” cat — she prefers to snuggle right next to you, inching closer and closer as she gets more comfortable. In her foster home, she’s already choosing to sit beside her people on the couch, and we wouldn’t be surprised if laps are in her future.<br/><br/>Athena is extremely playful and loves interactive playtime. Wand toys, games, and attention are some of her favorite things. She's a real huntress! Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch!
