Meet Arya

Meet Arya, a very sweet 8 year old girl!

This little kitty was just diagnosed with diabetes, but she is taking it like a champ! Arya's condition is very stable with a proper diet and daily insulin. Plus, she is so good about getting her injections and blood sugar testing.

Don't have experience with injecting insulin? No worries! We can instruct you exactly how to do it! Kitties with diabetes have a positive prognosis and good quality of life with adequate management at home.

Sweet and loving, Arya wants to be the only pet in her home. She also would like a family with no small children.

Even if you are not sure about adopting Arya, we are currently looking for a foster home for her! If you are interested in either option, please follow the instructions below!

--------
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://thecatconnection.org/adopt/adoption-application/

Filling out this application rather than emailing us will get you a quicker response.

Please also consider fostering as an alternative to adoption. To learn more, go to:
http://thecatconnection.org/get-involved/foster/

We request $100 for each cat 11 years and over, $150 for each cat 7-10 years old, $200 for each cat 4-6 years old, $250 for each cat 1-3 years old, $325 for each kitten 6-12 months old, and $350 for each kitten under 6 months. These fees fund spay/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two!

The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. To find out more about us, please visit our website: http://thecatconnection.org/
