ARUGULA and CHEF - Beautiful Story! Domestic Medium Hair Pegram, TN

It is said that good things come in pairs, and do we have a delightful duo for you! Meet Arugula and Chef!

Arugula is truly an exceptional cat! This is her story, along with that of her son, Chef.

Arugula and Chef are a very special pair. Besides being mother and son, Arugula is blind, and Chef acts as his mother’s buddy. Chef has always been a little mama’s boy. One of five kittens, Chef stuck close to his mom. And Arugula? She is whip smart. She kept her kittens in line by using her voice, Marco Polo-style. She would chirp, and each of her kittens would respond. In this way she knew exactly where they were at all times.

Not content with raising her own kittens, Arugula acted as a surrogate mother to her foster sister and her newborns. The two worked together to love and raise nine well-socialized, playful kittens.

While Arugula has trouble seeing, she is able to get around and uses the litter box well. She might bump into things, but she appears to recognize shadows. Arugula loves pets, but she gets a bit startled. Chef is a sweet and kind boy. He loves to play, but at the end of the day, he wants to be near his mom.

We’re looking to keep these two together because of their bond. Please consider opening your hearts to Arugula and her little baby Chef! They truly are a perfect pair!
