Arthur & Totter's Story

Arthur & Totter are the best boys ever.

This is an extremely cuddly, loving pair of kittens. Totter wants to be on your lap and near you at all times. He is ultra friendly - if you have friends over, he wants to be in the center of it all. No fear or hesitation from this baby. His absolute favorite pastime is sleeping belly-up on the couch. Arthur is curious and happy, wanting to explore when he’s not on your lap. He likes watching TV (especially tennis), grooming his brother, and galloping around the house.

These two aren’t biological brothers — Totter was found outside at a very young age with his siblings, and very sadly he was the only surviving one of his litter. He was a fighter with so much love to give from day one. Author was found outside with his mom and older siblings from a prior litter, so he was the only surviving kitten in his litter, too. These boys were meant to be.

Both of these kittens have unique and particularly beautiful markings. Arthur is a silver tabby with sand colored legs and chest. Totter has distinctive tabby stripes on his back.

Arthur & Totter are bonded and MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER.

Both of them are fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. They have been cleared of parasites and fleas. They are both litter-box trained. They are negative for FeLV and FIV.

Backyard Cats of Bed-Stuy's Adoption Policy
I ask that everyone interested in adopting a cat from me starts the application process by filling out my adoption application! The more details you can provide, the better. You can find the app here: https://www.backyardcatsofbedstuy.com/adoption-application Once I've received your application, if I'm interested in moving forward I'll reach out to schedule a Zoom call (or sometimes an in-person meeting, where possible). I often have the foster join as well to talk more specifically about each cat's personality and needs. If the meet-and-greet goes well, and if requested, the potential adopter can arrange a time to meet the cat(s) at their foster homes, or they can start out with a trial "foster-to-adopt" period of one month, to make sure it is a good fit for both cats and humans. A cat isn't considered "fully adopted" until they have been through proper vetting (spayed or neutered, given rabies and FVRCP vaccines, tested for FeLV and FIV, microchipped, and dewormed and treated for fleas). I love to stay in touch with my adopters and often receive updates about their new pets thriving in their forever homes!
