PLEASE NOTE -Sunny Sky’s Rescue is open to preapproved applicants for our dogs and cats on Wednesdays from 12-4pm and Saturdays from 12-4pm. Although our shelter will once again be open we are still following Covid-19 precautions. All visitors are asked to wear a facemask and observe social distancing. In order to have a meet and greet a preapproved application is required.*

We are still making changes to our application process and at this time we are only allowing pre-approved applicants to have formal meet and greets with the pets available for adoption. We strongly recommend visitors fill out the adoption application prior to visiting.

Artemis-aka -Arty has been a loved and sweet kitty who is now looking for a new forever home. She is a very alert and intelligent kitty who knows sit, circle, and ' no claws' when asked. Arty loves to cuddle and be your best little buddy on these cold rainy days. We understand she is a bit shy around men but with patience all is good. She just wants to be that special companion for her loved one's life. She tends to be a bit shy when you first meet her but with some TLC and patience she shows you her sweet personality. Her DOB is 12/8/18.

The adoption fee for a cat is $109 and includes spay/neuter, Microchip, pyrantel deworming, Frontline flea treatment, testing for feline leukemia/FIV, and routine vaccinations (excluding rabies).

Our adoption process has changed during this time and we will be processing applications before having potential adopters meet the animals, this way we will be able to match families with their forever pets. You will have an opportunity on the application to let us know what type of pet you are looking for.

Although you cannot request a specific dog or cat the preapproval will give you access to a meet and greet with the group of dogs or cats your application matches you with. This is the first step at finding your special new family member! Please note preapproval applications are online only – there are no paper applications available on site. You will be notified in 7 business days of your preapproval status.
