This is Aristotle. He was born approximately 8/21/21 and grew up on the tough streets of Roswell, NM and he became an expert at hiding. Wild Blue came to his rescue and saw that he was just scared and needed some time to learn about human love. This shy, short-haired black male is a sweet friend just waiting for the right person to recognize his love and want to help him grow in confidence. Through patience and slow interactions, he has learned to appreciate soft cheek rubs and pets, as long as your greeting is gentle. He likes to sniff fingers and even some faces. Once he feels comfortable with a human friend, he will purr and purr during a petting session. Then, he likes full body pets and rump rubs. He prefers the safety of high shelves or a cubby or cat hut, and waits until his favorite humans come to him. He is keenly observant of his surroundings and the happenings with the other kitties. He prefers his independence, away from the nosy dominant cats. Sometimes another shy kitty who wants to snuggle will join him in his cat hut to keep him company. He needs a calm adult home with a kitty lover who can dedicate time to love him and is willing to build a trusting relationship without setting time limits. Since his transitions into different environments is a bit scary, his introductions should follow Wild Blue Cats' outlined instructions and be slow and gradual.
