Have you been looking for a sign you found the right kittens to be a part of your family? Look no further - meet Aries & Aquarius! These 10-month-old bonded brothers are a delightful and entertaining duo. They have sleek black coats, with Aries having tiny tufts of white fur in his ears. Each day begins a new adventure for Aries and Aquarius - finding a box to hide in, scouting out the perfect nook to nap in, or burying all the toys in their bed. They take turns chasing each other up and down the stairs, and if you thought zoomies were only for dogs, well, you haven't met these two kitties. Aries is a curious kitty, while Aquarius is more cautious. Still, he will follow his brother's lead in eating and playing. Both are outgoing and friendly. They are not very vocal unless it is time for breakfast - and you may hear the tiniest kitten howl. They can be picked up, but Aquarius will melt in your arms when you give him pets and chin scratches. They are being fostered with their mama, Pisces, in a home with other adult cats and are looking for someone to play with them and match their kitten energy.

All adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, microchip, rabies, and distemper vaccinations, proof of FIV/feline leukemia testing, flea treatment, deworming, and an exam by a licensed veterinarian.

Our shelter hours are by appointment only and are not open to the public. Many of our cats and kittens are located in foster homes. An adoption application MUST be submitted and approved before meeting our cats/kittens. We do this for the safety of our fosters and potential adopters.

Our adoption process includes the following:

1. Adoption Application
To be considered for this cat(s) or kitten(s), you MUST complete an adoption application:
- Through our website (preferred) at www.scruffypawsanimalrescue.org/
- Email a copy to scruffypawsanimalrescue@gmail.com
- Drop off a hard copy to either of our partner PetSmart locations (Johnston or North Smithfield)
- Mail a hard copy to Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue at 2944 Post Rd. Warwick, RI 02886

2. Veterinary Reference
Please call your vet ahead of time to give permission to release records to our adoption team. Out-of-state adoptions typically require an exceptional veterinary reference and are at the discretion of our adoption team.

3. Proof of Home Ownership OR Landlord Approval
If renting, the landlord's contact information must be provided so our adoption team can seek approval.

4. Home Visit
Please make sure you are located in our vicinity. We are based out of Warwick, RI. Due to COVID-19, we are currently doing virtual home visits until further notice.
