Aria was tangled up in a construction site fence in Waverly, Iowa and a WPR foster home went and saved her 7/26/17. She was just a tiny baby. Looked around and no mother or other kittens were around. So took Aria home. Aria is up to date on shots, and tested negative for FeLV / FIV. She is also spayed now. She is living in a foster home.

Aria was about 5 weeks old on July 26th when she was rescued. So now she is about 4-1/2 years old as of January 2022.. Aria is also a wild child and will run and play play play. She would not be good around children as she still gives loves nips. This is getting better. We tell her no, no biting. And then put a toy in her face to play with. She also does not do well with other cats or even other kittens. She will hiss and try and attack them. So she needs a home where she can be the only one. Probably no dogs too. If we try her around one and she is ok, we will update this profile.

12/31/17 UPDATE: Aria is about 5 months old now. She has grown into a playful kitten! Run and play all day long is what she would love the most. Since she did not have a mother to teach her, she still tends to want to nip at you. We try to flick her gently in the nose when she does that and tell her no. Her adopter will need to do the same. Hopefully she get this figured out before she is an adult. She still does not like other cats. She has not been around dogs, no idea if in time she would be ok with other cats or dogs or not. Aria does like to be petted and cuddle too.

4/21/18 UPDATE: Aria is about 9 months old now. She is a beautiful girl with amazing coloring. She is always playful and full of energy. She needs someone willing to play with her often. A feather wand or a laser pointer is perfect! She can be very sweet and loving, and will purr while you cuddle her. She must have an experienced cat owner that will know how to watch her signs of when she is getting over stimulated. Because once that happens, she will still bite you. Or sometimes she will think you want to play and still try to attack your hand or arm. When she does that, it is important to tell her no and redirect her to a toy she can attack. No children would be best in her home. She now with time has gotten better with other cats around. It is very possible she could become friends with another cat. She has not been around dogs.

7/30/18 UPDATE: Aria is over a year old now. She will let me hold and love on her as long as it is on her terms. She will then purr and really enjoys it. Most the time she prefers to run and explore the house. She loves to play. She has a lot of energy. She does still get moody and if she flicks her tail, she will try to bite you. She has to have an experienced cat owner. She has also made friends with other foster cats in the home and they are named Berry and Sidney. They are so laid back and they let her rule them. She wants to wrestle and play and it can be rough. It will take just the right person to adopt Aria.

3/26/19 UPDATE: Aria has settled down a lot! She enjoys being petted. She will flip to one side and let you pet her, she loves her head and ears being petted. She gets along pretty well with docile male cats. She would be best in a home with no other cats, that is when she is happiest. She does not do well with other dominate kitties, if they want to fight, she will fight. She rarely bites anymore. She gives clear signs when she might, so then you just leave her alone. You know she is agitated when her ears go back or she swishes her tail. Aria is also a very curious kitty. She loves to explore. She pays attention to everything that goes on in the home. Have high hopes there is a cat experienced home out there for Aria!

Will someone please adopt Aria and give her a forever home? $95 adoption fee.
