Meet APRIL SNOWWHITE
***GOLDEN YEARS ALERT***
APRIL SNOWWHITE is a 17 year old short haired white female cat. Both of April’s owners passed away in the last 2 years. April didn’t seem very socialized but settled in quickly when she got to the foster, who has 3 small dogs and 1 female cat. April and the cat aren't fond of each other but they just hiss at each other when they cross paths so they mostly keep their distance. April doesn’t mind small dogs and seems to be unphased by the barking and enthusiasm. April is friendly and loves to just hang out. She enjoys having her chin scratched and lick bananas (yes, you read that correctly!) She’s an independent "little ol' lady", not a lap cat although if you pick her up and put her with you she will hang out. She likes to explore and will make her way around a new place at her discretion.
April was recently diagnosed hyperthyroidism and requires cream applied to her ears twice daily but otherwise is in good health. It is an inexpensive medication.
April is patiently waiting for a loving forever home to live out her golden years. She was adopted in November 2020 but her owner could not care for her properly so she is need of a new home where she'll be loved forever. April's brother was adopted through Kitten Rescue and we hope April will live out her life with someone that is capable of giving her the love and care that she deserves in her advanced age. We don't know how long she has left on this earth but we do know that she should be loved and cared for until the day she leaves this planet.
April is in foster care in North Hollywood. Please text 262-402-0022 if interested in providing this sweet girl a permanent home.
