Hi there, I am Alvin! I am a sweetheart kitty-cat who is friendly to all. I am a kind-hearted cat with a lot of love to give to my new family. Each day, I give little bits of sunshine and sweetness to the volunteers here. They pet me and I send my goodness into their fingers, up through their hands and arms, and into their hearts.

I think that is an important part of life: giving. It makes me feel good to know that people are happy around me. I see some of those other cats strutting around like they own the place but I see life from a lens of gentleness. I get along well with the other cats that I live with here at Desert Haven. I've also been around dogs and been calm, cool, and collected in the same room with them. I think all the other pets see how I carry myself and get a good energy from me.

I was found as a stray here on the Desert Haven property. I have had some tricky eye issues to sort out and the vet and Desert Haven volunteers have been working hard to solve my mild eye issues. Cortizone shots seem to be helping resolve my issues at this point. And I just had dental surgery so my mouth and toofers are in tip top shape. I do want you to know that there may be some vetting involved in my care. I am looking for a hero to adopt me now and help me have good vet care and a great life going forward. I will need a family who commits to helping me finish solving these pesky eye issues.

Another part of living a good life is receiving love. I am ready to receive the love of my family, and help a house become a home. Love, Alvin
