Raven (black female kitten) fell head over heels for sweet, shy Apollo (brown tabby male.) Apollo takes a bit of time to warm up to you but once he is comfortable, he is the most affectionate boy. Raven helps Apollo come out of his shell so much that their foster mom believes they are a bonded pair who should stay together.

This message is kind, transparent, and informative, making it clear that these cats have special needs while emphasizing that they still have a good quality of life. They’re both incredibly sweet cats, but I wanted to let you know they have some special care needs.
• Raven is FIV-positive, which means her immune system is a bit weaker than a typical cat’s. She’s more susceptible to illness, but with proper care, she can live a happy and healthy life.
• Apollo has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), a neurological condition that affects his balance and coordination. Despite this, he eats, uses the litter box, and gets around just fine. It doesn’t impact his quality of life or lifespan—he just moves a little differently!

All of the cats in Kitty Cat Connection's (KCC) care are lovingly cared for in foster homes. This gives us the ability to match adopters with the purrfect cat or kitten. All of our adoptable cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, given FVRCP and rabies vaccines and combo tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia. KCC is a foster based rescue, we do not have a main facility. We have an adoption venue at PetSmart located at 8970 NW Skyview Ave, Kansas City, MO 64154. There is a small adoption center in the store and we have cats featured daily at the store that you can see in person. Our adoption events are at PetSmart every Saturday afternoon from 1pm to 4:30pm. We occasionally hold Saturday morning adoptions and Sunday adoptions at PetSmart depending on how many volunteers are able to the attend adoption event.
