Apache is a handsome 3 year old boy that was scheduled to be put down due to space constraints at a municipal shelter in Georgia. Fortunately, our friends at North Georgia Animal Alliance stepped in to rescue him, and transferred him to our facility for placement. Before going to the shelter, Apache belonged to a family and was surrendered for unknown reasons, so he has plenty of experience being in a home with people.

Apache is one of those cats that enjoys having a spot to hide out in, but the moment a friendly human enters his line of sight, he comes right out and meows his enthusiastic greetings. This handsome tuxedo boy will practically pet himself, rubbing his head and cheeks all over hands and faces. He has a distinct, talkative meow and friendly personality, always eager to meet and befriend new people. He enjoys extreme perches, either low to the ground or high up in the air, and has a mellow playstyle with springs and toy mice. Apache prefers the company of humans as long as they aren’t too young or too rough, and aside from that would make an excellent and adaptable family cat.

We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.

The adoption fee is $85 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for FELV/FIV, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
