ANDROMEDA Turkish Van & Domestic Short Hair Mix Palm Desert, CA

It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.


ANDROMEDA and her 5 siblings (CASSIOPEIA - DORADO - DRACO - VELA - CARINA) were saved from the shelter in Riverside County. These guys were tiny, sick and malnourished. Don't know exactly where they came from...all we know is that had hours to live. We were asked to help and they went with one of our fosters.


ANDROMEDA is now ready for his "FUREVER" home. Female orange tabbies are not common. 80% of orange cats are male. For a female cat to be orange, she must inherit two orange genes — one from her mother (orange, calico, or tortoiseshell) and one from her father (who must be orange). A male cat needs only one orange gene, which he gets from his mother (orange, calico, or tortoiseshell).


ANDROMEDA is an orange and white tabby who is fast on her feet when she has the zoomies. She loves to climb furniture, cabinets and people and seems to want to play with all of her siblings at the same time. After being spayed, she has learned to enjoy being petted although she still somewhat avoids being picked up. One of her eyes has a bit of blue in it which gives her a very unique look when she’s looking at you.

She will need a young cat / kitten buddy at home to play with.


ANDROMEDA is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TURKISH VAN - TABBY MIX. She is about 6 months old. She is good with cats and non-reactive to with dogs. She has never been around children.


ANDROMEDA is currently at PETSMART in Palm Desert, California of Monterey Avenue.



ADOPTION PROCESS:

2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

JANUARY 2023: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.


Volunteers are usually at Petsmart between 9 - 10 am to 12 pm - 1 pm. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is at 11 am. We are working on getting evening volunteers too! Email us and ask us. We will let you know what days evening volunteers are there.


The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc....once the adoption has been finalized. So gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.


Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.


We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
