ABOUT:
Amunet is a social, refined lady. Amunet will come up to her foster mom when she is interested in some love and attention, and will slowly walk away when she’s had enough and would prefer some alone time. When she’s enjoying her “me” time Amunet loves to look out the windows and judge the neighbors, watch her foster mom, or even watch TV!. Her playful side is coming out as she is getting more comfortable in her new foster home. She loves any “prey” style toys that she can hunt and pounce on, including mice, and crinkle balls. She is also getting curious about the kitty play tunnel. She loves butt scratches and any massage style of petting...everywhere except her belly. Like many cats she will roll over and tempt you to try to rub her belly, then will kick your hands away when you try. When she’s ready for some attention Amunet will curl up next to her foster’s feet, legs or lap. Amunet is totally content to have some time by herself during the day, but when her foster returns she will playfully “meow” to Amunet who quickly comes running and while returning her meows. Amunet’s silly little quirk is that she likes to anticipate her foster’s movements and will “race” her to the next room...Amunet always wins. We think that Amunet would do best in a more calm and quiet household. She likes to follow her foster around and be in the room with her, but she seems to appreciate their quieter, calmer lifestyle. She is not being fostered with children, but she might do best with adults only or older children as she doesn’t love to be picked up or carried and probably won’t be a giant fan of a lot of commotion. Amunet was previously fostered with another cat, but she prefers a more co-existence type of lifestyle.. She doesn’t go out of her way to cause any problems with the other cats, but she prefers to keep to herself and isn’t afraid to reach out and give a swat to anyone who came too close. Amunet would be perfectly content and happy to be an only cat.
