Amelia Manx & Domestic Short Hair Mix Chattanooga, TN

Amelia came all the way from Texas after her owner passed away. The family lives here and asked for help in placing their mother's cat. Amelia is a gorgeous solid white Manx who was born in November 2016. She does not like kids or dogs as she is used to a calm environment. Although a little scared, she is doing well around the other cats in our colony room. She is sad and confused as to why her life has suddenly changed, but we know in time we will find her the loving and calm home she wants and deserves.

Amelia loves a good neck scratch and will really lean in to your hand when scratches are offered. It may take her a while to come out of her shell once in a new home, but you can easily win her over with some wet food:)

We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but doing adoptions and meet & greets by appointment only.

The adoption fee is $50 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for FELV/FIV, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
