Alien Tabby & Domestic Short Hair Mix Santa Cruz, CA

Alien is a super loving, snuggly cat. He has a very sweet disposition and is still a very playful and social kitten. He gets along with kids and other cats.

When we rescued him at about 6 weeks old he had an injured right paw and a healing wound on his back. Both injuries have healed but an infection in his wrist dissolved all of his wrist bones. He is infection free and gets around very well. He is able to climb and jump and play but is a little limited in his abilities. He should be an indoor cat. The Vet said that he should be able to get along just fine and live a full life. There is a slight possibility that the paw would need to be amputated if complications occur as he grows but he thinks this is unlikely. For now he barely limps, keeps up with all the other kittens and cats in our household, and is an awesome companion. He needs to suckle and knead when he's sleepy so we give him a toy or a soft blanket to snuggle so he doesn't end up suckling on us. He is our favorite extraterrestrial!
