It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.


The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat!


ALEXIS CASTLE and her siblings (KATE BECKETT - KEVIN RYAN - RICHARD CASTLE - JAVIER ESPOSITO) was saved by a sweet man that takes care of his cats in his neighborhood in Hemet, California.


Meet ALEXIS CASTLE, a charming Tuxedo Maine Coon mix from Hemet, California, whose sleek black-and-white coat and regal demeanor make her look like she belongs in a royal family. She’s a little shy at first but has a heart full of potential and a playful side that’s sure to win you over once you get to know her.


ALEXIS CASTLE loves to play—whether with her fellow feline friends or any toy that crosses her path. You’ll often find her engaging in exciting solo adventures with a feather wand or chasing a crinkle ball across the room. It’s her way of showing off her Maine Coon spirit, blending a mix of independence with just the right amount of curiosity. She’s also a fan of canned food and has a special soft spot for Churru treats—if you're holding one, expect her to work her charm and gently nudge you for a taste!


While she’s still learning to trust, ALEXIS CASTLE is a gentle soul who does allow pets once she feels comfortable. Her comfort zone includes being held and carried, making her an ideal companion for someone who enjoys the quiet moments of affection with their cat. She hasn’t yet lived with young children or dogs, so she’d likely thrive in a calm, quieter home where she can blossom at her own pace.

ALEXIS CASTLE is an DOMESTIC LONG HAIR / TUXEDO MAINE COON MIX. She is about 10 months old. ALEXIS CASTLE is good with cats. In his foster home, she was around other kittens and older cats. He has never been around children or dogs.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

FEBUARY 2025: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.


Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 4 pm - 7 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays.

The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.


Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.


We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
