Meet Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA (also known as Alex) is a petite, short haired tuxedo girl with perfect white boots on her front feet, about 8 months old. She is a quiet little lady who prefers observing the scene before joining in to play. When she is ready to play, her current favorites are a laser pointer, or a wand toy. She is most comfortable being in the same room with her big brother cats, but prefers her own little space to cat nap. As she gains confidence, she has taken to playing "follow-the-leader" to her food dish, where she will sit patiently and wait to be fed. Alexandria and her brother were rescued from a cat colony as kittens. Alex took awhile to warm up and first came out of hiding in the presence of the resident cats. She still does not like loud noises or fast movements, but when she feels safe, she will race around playing tag with her big brother cats. She likes to be petted only when she is safely tucked in her hammock, and then she lets the big purrs out! Having a daily routine and living with other cats has really helped her confidence, and she has recently begun sneaking naps on the human's bed - if she thinks they are asleep. Alex's perfect match is someone that loves the quiet, shy kitties. If you enjoy having kittens, but don't enjoy the curtain-climbing - she's the one for you!

Alexandria has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and includes a free wellness vet visit with our vet partners. To meet Alexandria in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $145 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID#2103-C0137
