Hello darling. I'm Alaska, and I'm a big girl with big dreams. I know, I'm quite an eye-catching lady cat. I'm on the more mature side of seven years old. Which means I've been around the block. Unfortunately, some blocks weren't so nice to me. I was originally from a home that didn't treat me and my other kitty friends well. So we were brought here. My friends and I are all named after U.S. states. You could take a wild guess why I'm named Alaska. It's because I'm such a HUUUUUGE beauty!
So, I was adopted in December of 2019, but here I am again. My owners moved and did not want to take me with them. I guess I would take up too much space in their new home. I did change a lot in the past year, all for the better. I am very friendly and LOVE attention. Sometimes I come over and just plop down beside you to be petted. I like to be brushed, especially since some places are hard to reach for me. I enjoy being petted and noticed like the largest state I am. I like to play and have a surprising amount of energy, considering my extra land mass.

You can see in my pictures, I'm not afraid to eat a little extra pizza from time to time. Although I could really stand to lose some weight. And NOT because it's swimsuit season! I want to live a long, healthy life with a new fur-ever family. I'm already on the road to a better me by eating a better diet. But I'd love to be in a new home where I can explore and play in a bigger space. Let me start my new life journey with you and be your best gal pal!
