Meet Akira

Hi, my name is Akira. I am 2 and a half years old and I have spent most of my time here at the shelter waiting for my forever home to come along. I was found as a kitten in a barn, and my finder knew that I deserved more. She spent some time socializing me and helping me to come out of my shell. Once I was ready, she brought me into the shelter where I have spent my time helping other cats like me, shy, scared and unsure of people, to come out of their shells too! I have made many friends and have become a staff favorite, but I have also watched all of those friends leave before me. I am the longest resident here at CPHS, and would love to find a home of my own where I can live out my life comfortable and loved. I would do best in a home without young children as new situations are still scary for me, and I would prefer to have a cat friend or two in my home as well. Please stop in and give me a chance!
