(By the pet supplies area) If you would like to adopt him, please do apply. Once approved to adopt him, a WPR volunteer will set up with you to meet at Norby's so you can adopt and take him home! Aiden was a stray in Hudson, Iowa. A kind couple took him, his siblings, and his mother in. They found an indoor home with family for the mom. She will be spayed and will stop the cycle of having kittens born outside living a life as a stray. Waverly Pet Rescue took Aiden and his 2 brothers in and they are now living in a foster home. He is now up to date on shots, tested FeLV / FIV negative, and neutered.

Aiden is about 13-weeks-old as of August 16th, 2019. He is super cute and as sweet as can be. He lived most his life inside and has been handled since a few days after being born. He loves to play. He loves to be petted and cuddled. He should do ok with other cats, dogs, and children since he is still very young.

This kitten family is 3 brothers: Aiden, Caden, and Jayden. Adopt one, two, or all 3! (8/21/19 UPDATE: Jayden was just adopted today! Aiden and Caden still need a home!)

Aiden must be adopted into a home with another young cat for him to bond with and play with. Or he can be adopted with one or both of his brothers. He cannot be an only cat. He must have a cat friend.

Aiden's adoption fee is $95.00.


WE ARE A NO-KILL 501-C-3 NON-PROFIT RESCUE. All donations are tax deductible. We do not have a shelter. All pets live in foster homes. We only adopt to indoor homes. To see an animal, you must fill out an application first and then once approved, we can set up for you to meet the animal you are interested in. We do background checks on all applicants. All animals see a vet for shots and normal exams. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.
Waverly Pet Rescue puts a lot of money into medical care for each dog and cat we take in. $200 is the average cost for basic care. This does not include if the animal had an injury, required extra flea / ear mite treatments, or needed extra days at the vet office.
