It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.


AHSOKA TANO and her 5 siblings (ARMORER - GREEF KARGA - PELI MOTTO - GARSA FWIP - CARA DUNE) were part of a huge TNR effort in Los Angeles County. The group TNRed all the adult cats and rescued moms with kittens. They went to our foster. FYI: We named them after the show MANDALORIAN.


They have spent the last few months growing into healthy, well-rounded kittens at their foster home. AHSOKA TANO is now ready for her forever home!


There are not enough words to tell you just how sweet AHSOKA TANO is. Sure, she is an active kitten that loves to run around with her friends, but I have never met a cat so sweet & cuddly. She craves attention and knows how to get it—sitting down for a moment? Bam, AHSOKA TANO is in your lap. Busy with the dishes? No problem; Wild child AHSOKA TANO can climb your legs and will cuddle right into that spot between your neck and shoulder. Once she’s convinced you that it is indeed time for cuddles, she will reward you with the sweetest little trilling purr that you’ve ever heard. She has so much love to give and will make you fall in love with her to succeed in her mission. She also finds a way to literally, land on you!


AHSOKA TANO is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / ABYSSINIAN - TABBY MIX. She is about 6 months old. She is good with cats and non-reactive to with dogs. She has never been around children.


AHSOKA TANO is currently at PETSMART in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue.


ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)
2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
7. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

NOVEMBER 2022:. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.


Volunteers are usually at Petsmart between 9 - 10 am to 12 pm - 1 pm. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is at 11 am. We are working on getting evening volunteers too! Email us and ask us. We will let you know what days evening volunteers are there.


The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will do meet and greets at any of the 3 Petsmart locations listed below. But steps 1-5 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, once the adoption has been finalized. So gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.


Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.


We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient.

Spay
FVRCP shots
RABIES shot
FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control
Microchip


We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
