Meet Agnes
Agnes is now 1 year old and has been with us since April of 2022, when she arrived with her littermates, Adler and Annette. She came in nervous and apprehensive of the new environment, and preferred to hide out under a bed most of the time. However, as we worked with her and she settled into her new area, Agnes showed a truly affectionate and loving side. Though still a little shy, she frequently seeks out love and attention from staff and visitors. Agnes loves to flop down near people to receive pets and especially loves head scritches. This beautiful, lanky Torbie still enjoys burrowing under beds and blankets to get cozy, but can be easily enticed out by the promise of pets and treats. Small toys, such as stuffed mice and plastic springs, are her favorite to chase and bat around; she’s great at entertaining herself.
Agnes enjoys the company of other cats to play and cuddle with, and could adjust to a home alongside other friendly feline companions; however, she would do best in a home without small children due to her skittish nature. She will likely need patience and understanding to adjust to a new home, but once she is comfortable with her new family and surroundings she will be a loving and grateful pet.
We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.
The adoption fee is $75 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for FELV/FIV, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
