Meet Admiral and Tripod

M I N I PANTHERS FOR ADOPTION
Tripod and Admiral just turned one and would love a forever home for their 1st birthday. Their foster says...
Tripod is unique, friendly and affectionate! He was born with one less paw and we affectionately call him, ‘3 paw. It’s amazing watching him move and propel himself forward. Most people would view his nub as a disability, but believe me, he doesn’t! He’ll dive for toys and treats without fear. He loves to lay out anywhere remotely sunny and show off his belly. He’s obsessed with cat hammocks and likes to hang his front paws over the side. Yes, it’s just as adorable as it sounds. His chirping noises will make you smile. It’s his preferred method of communication. He LOVES to be loved on, ear & head scratches, back pets and even (surprisingly) belly rubs.
He’s highly food motivated and the moment I put his wet food down, he quickly inhales it. Trust me, when a cat food can opens, you’ve never seen a cat move so fast! He’s the Garfield of black cats. He likes being held and will reward you with deep purrs for head rubs. Tripod has SO MUCH personality and would love to make you his new best friend (especially if you have treats).

Admiral can be a bit shy at first, but he once he trusts you, he loves being around you. His strides have been incredibly rewarding. It’s amazing to watch him transform more and more every day. He enjoys head scratches and light pets. He likes wet food, but also doesn’t mind sharing his helping with his brother (who can be a little thief at times… lol) He loves dry food, cat beds and sleeping by your side at night.
Admiral’s favorite thing in life is chasing any type of toy that appears to fly. His leaping skills are quite impressive. I play with him a bit at night before bed, then he curls up behind my legs or at my feet. It’s very endearing I have cat toys out and he loves to play with them (even if his brother is napping.) He makes super cute noises when he’s playing and having fun. His noises are completely different than his brother, but they do communicate to one another every day. It’s so sweet. The brothers also LOVE to play & cuddle with one another! They’re the absolute best of friends.
This bonded duo comes neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. They are great with other cats & okay with calm dogs as well. I’ve been fostering this adorable duo for 6 and 1/2 months. They’ve been well taken care of, but are ready to have a forever home to call their own.
If you're interested in meeting these handsome boys, please complete our online adoption application at https://daws.org/daws-forms. All of our black cats have a REDUCED ADOPTION FEE for the month of October. In honor of Black Cat Awareness Month, the fee will be 25% reduced.
