Ace is a super shy guy but loves his kitty friends. He may be better suited for a quiet home or for barn cat duty. Cats are natural hunters and control territory. Highland County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

All of our adoptable animals are pulled from local pounds, strays or owner surrenders. Interested in adoption? Contact us at info@highlandcountyhumanesociety.org for an application to be emailed or mailed to you. Once we've received your application, it's reviewed for approval, once approved, a date and time is arranged to meet the pet. Currently all of our animals are in foster homes. We can meet you or arrange transportation for meeting the adoptable pet or for releasing the pet into your care. Adoption fees include pre-adoption spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and flea/tick treatment. Currently we are a foster-based program. If you'd like to meet an available adoptable animals, that can easily be arranged.
