Acadia's Story

Acadia's story started on the streets, where she showed up as a young stray with a surprise — she was pregnant. Despite everything she'd been through, she gave birth to four healthy kittens and proved to be an incredible mom. Each kitten was named after a national park, and once they all found their forever homes, it was finally Acadia's turn to get the same chance.

Now in her foster home, Acadia has begun to rediscover what it means to feel safe. She's learned that people can be gentle, toys are meant for play, and that life inside can actually be pretty fun. She lights up when she's around other cats — they help her feel brave and bring out her curious, playful side. She's even been polite and calm around dogs who respect her space.

Acadia is still gaining confidence after her time as a stray, so she'll need a home that understands patience and the quiet reward of earning a cat's trust. But once she feels secure, she'll show you her true personality: smart, sweet, and a little wild at heart. Watching her relax and play for the first time is the kind of joy that makes rescue work worthwhile.

If you have a gentle home, maybe another cat for company, and room in your heart for a cat who's learning to love again, Acadia might be the perfect match for you.

Please apply to adopt at www.TTRRescue.com or email TTRRescue@gmail.com with any questions.

Adoption Process
Our adoption process helps match pets with their families.
