Abby's Story

Abby and Tinkerbell are sisters. They were rescued by a friendly man and woman who were tired of seeing kittens born in their neighborhood with no one to care for them. They worked with our rescue to spay and neuter 14 kittens and 7 adults!! They care for the adults and we took in all 14 kittens!! Because Tinkerbell and Abby were born outside, it has taken them longer to acclimate to living the indoor pampered lifestyle. They are the last 2 of the 14 kittens to be adopted and would make a perfect pair! They will soon be turning one year old, so make this a happy first birthday by adopting them! They currently live with other foster cats and enjoy going into the catio window space on nice days or playing on cat trees, as you see in the attached video!
Abby was spayed with a voucher from the Humane Society, so her adoption fee is reduced and a portion of the adoption fee will be returned to the Humane Society of Butler County! A win-win for everyone!
Abby is up to date on vaccines, flea treatment and dewormer. She has tested
NEGATIVE for FeLV/FIV. Abby also has a microchip that can be registered and maintained for free.

Cats In Knead's Adoption Policy
*Please note-the location listed (Karns City) is our mailing address (required by PetFinder)...it is NOT the location of where the cat/kitten is fostered. Most of our cats/kittens are fostered in the Butler County area. Procedures: Potential adopters contact our organization via email or through social media messages. We are currently only operating a Facebook page at this time, until we can gain more volunteers who can help us expand our social media and website platform. An adoption application is sent to the interested adopter via email (Google link). Once the application is received back to Cats In Knead, it is reviewed by our Foster Coordinator. References are called, addresses are confirmed and the vet reference listed is contacted. If any of the responses do not align with our beliefs regarding adoption, or if false information is given, the application will be denied. If everything looks good on the application, the Foster Coordinator contacts the applicant and follows up with some simple questions, then coordinates a meet and greet with the foster and the potential adopter. After the meet and greet (which only occurs at the foster home), the potential adopter contacts the foster coordinator with their input regarding the visit. We reserve the right to conduct a home visit with the potential adopter at any time before, during or after the adoption process. If adopters are approved, they will also be required to review and sign a contract, which will be maintained by Cats In Knead.
