Meet 1952 Vincent Black Lightning- SPONSOR NEEDED!
NAME: 1952 Vincent Black Lightning
LITTER: He is part of the Mary Lou Lord litter.
LOCATION: He is currently living in a foster home. A meeting can be scheduled with an approved application.
DOB: 8/14/2021
GENDER: Male
BREED/HAIR LENGTH: Domestic Short Hair
LITTER BOX TRAINING: Good!
OTHER CATS: He has lived with other cats but seems to prefer being the king of the castle, so he would be happy in a cat-free home.
DOGS: Vincent has been fostered with dogs but prefers to ignore them. He would probably enjoy a dog-free home.
CHILDREN: Older, cat-respectful children.
ADOPTION DONATION: $150
HEALTH: He is neutered, micro-chipped, flea treated, de-wormed, and current on vaccines. Vincent has a mild kidney condition that requires a certain type of food. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs.
HISTORY: Vincent was rescued by Motley Zoo from a less than ideal situation. He struggled to overcome some health issues in his first year but came through like a champ!
NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME:
Vincent is a pretty simple boy. He needs 3 things in his life: pets, toys, and FOOD. He will make sure to remind you of this with some sweet meows especially when it comes to you being late with dinner.
Vincent is energetic and chatty. He enjoys playing a game of chase with his brother, Sunspot. He will play with any toys he can get his paws on, be it a wand, tunnel, mouse, or laser, Vincent is more than happy to entertain you. After he is all tired out, he will curl up on your lap for a good cuddle. Vincent is looking for a home with someone who wants an active companion and steadfast friend. He is alright with other cats and dogs, but would prefer a home without them. He will eat whatever you put down in front of him. Apply now and welcome this little streak of black lightning into your home!
ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO:
Motley Zoo Animal Rescue is a volunteer run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo does not have a traditional shelter location, but instead, utilizes private foster homes which care for the animals individually, in a home environment, until a "furever" home is found.
Motley Zoo also runs "Rock Star Treatment" Dog Daycare & Training Studio in Redmond, WA which is a day-use facility and does not hold kennels of adoptable animals. The dogs there are owned animals who come to the facility while their families are at work and school so they can play and socialize in a safe environment. We dub this service our "Year-round" fundraising program which helps us support our rescue animals and the $15,000/ month vet bills we incur. This Studio location does have an Adoptable Cat Lounge, where cats may live until adoption, which is the exception to any aforementioned rules.
Please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application so we can get you started on the journey to finding a new, furry friend! Once you have been approved to adopt, then we can set up a meeting with the animal you have been matched with.
