2014 BlogPaws Conference

BlogPaws is Pet Friendly

BlogPaws is Pet Friendly!

Get excited, it’s that time of year again! It’s the annual BlogPaws pet-friendly social media and marketing conference. BlogPaws is an “inclusive, global community of pet enthusiasts who write about and support pets via social media.” Their annual conference, the largest of its kind, brings together hundreds of pet parents “seeking information that will help them polish their blogging, social media, SEO and online publishing skills.” Petfinder is thrilled to once again support this wonderful event as a sponsor. With our goal of spreading the visibility of adoptable pets and sharing how anyone can help homeless pets by leveraging social media channels, it only made sense to partner with BlogPaws for the fifth year in a row.

We’re very excited for the opportunity to meet some fellow pet lovers, so register now and be sure to stop by our table to say hello, learn more about rescuing pets, or tell us your great adoption story – we love hearing them! Here are the details…

May 8-10

Lake Las Vegas, NV

Get some fun goodies and hang out with people that love pets just as much as you!

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. This is a social media conference after all so follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram with the hashtag #BlogPaws and we’ll be sure to keep everyone in the loop. With “expert and inspirational speakers from TV personalities (Andrea Arden, Rescue Ink, even Tillman the Skateboarding Bulldog!), to social platform experts (Google, Squidoo, StumbleUpon, Tout, BlogHer), to legal presenters on copyright and e-commmerce concerns (FTC and private counsel), and dozens more”, there will be plenty of great knowledge to share with everyone so we’ll do our best to pass that along to you through all of our social outlets.

There is a special event this year specifically targeted towards adoption groups. It’s called “Meet the Rescues” and the goal is to bring together the people who work in rescue shelters to network, share stories and ideas, and learn from one another to continue to grow the pet adoption industry.

With great speakers like Carol Bryant and Teri Thorsteinson discussing the topic of creative fundraising, it is sure to be an engaging and informative event. Select shelters and rescues will also have an opportunity to introduce themselves to the crowd before breaking into small groups to brainstorm ideas on creative fundraising and then share those ideas with the entire group. The session will be fun, refreshing, and motivating!

Remember, register today and join us in collaborating with other pet parents on business projects and pet welfare causes. You’re certain to walk away inspired!
