Do you like sharing your opinions? I sure do – just ask my friends and family. So when I was asked to record my shopping choices with a national marketing company and take their occasional surveys, I jumped right in. I wanted to weigh in for all the “real food,” vegan and gluten-free folks among us – hoping, by my shopping choices and answers, to ultimately expand the choices in my local grocery stores.
I also like donating to worthy causes. I put out cans of food for the local mail carriers to pick up during their food drives, and I can’t get by those bell ringers at Christmastime. I also have more greeting cards, address labels, and calendars than any one person could possibly use.
A survey comes to participants via email, and it only takes a few minutes to answer the questions. It’s easy to sign up.
And as a bonus, you get a chance to win a $100 prize after you complete each one. I know the odds are low to win, but there’s always hope, if you play the game, and meanwhile, you’ve helped a homeless pet, one survey at a time. As of March 1, we survey-takers have raised $17,976 for the foundation through Survey Monkey. And that’s not just monkey chow.
Since 2003, the Petfinder Foundation has provided over $20 million worth of grants to Petfinder member shelters and rescue groups to help homeless pets.
