Trinity was taken by robbers — from Nancy from Baton Rouge, LA
On July 27, 2010, someone came to our house while we were at work, kicked in our back door, and robbed us. In addition to all of our jewelry and electronics, they also took my daughter’s dog, Trinity.
We were devastated to say the least. My daughter had come by our house at 2:30 pm and discovered the break in and her dog missing. We knew Trinity would not go with them willingly and if she ran away, she would have found her way back. The thought that we would never see her again was very real in our minds.
At about 7 pm, we received a call from HomeAgain. Someone had found Trinity in the middle of an intersection far from our house, coaxed her to come to them, took her to a vet and found out she had a microchip. That is how they found us and we were reunited with her that night!
Her feet were all torn up, so the next day we took her to the vet. They said her injuries were from jumping from a moving vehicle. She also had a big knot on her head where they probably hit her to knock her out.
A year later and she is doing fine now. We have never caught the thieves or those who did this to Trinity, but we are so thankful for the microchip and HomeAgain for making this story have a very happy ending.
