Milo sneaked under the gate — from Shay in North Las Vegas, NV
After the neighbors on the block were shooting off fireworks, Milo was startled and shimmied his way under the gate. We searched for almost 20 hours straight, to no avail.
We prayed and hoped that he was safe, not only from the elements, but from other predatory animals, considering he is only 4 lbs.
We got a few leads, but they didn’t produce Milo. One day, the shelter posted a new Yorkie matching his description, but another heartbreak — he was not Milo.
However, moments later, we received the call that set our hearts at ease: Milo had been rescued the night he got loose. The family had been waiting for someone to post a flyer.
Thankfully, HomeAgain had provided a preformatted flyer, which we’d posted all over the area, in hopes that he would be found and returned to us!
That is exactly what happened. Thank God for answering our prayers!
