Did you know that you can help homeless pets by joining The Foundation’s “Help Homeless Animals Nationwide cause on Facebook“?

We’ve already raised nearly $2,000 through the cause app, including more than $1,500 toward our first Facebook-based fundraising campaign, to vaccinate 2,000 shelter dogs against bordetella (kennel cough).

As you may know, kennel cough is an extremely contagious disease that can spread quickly through shelters when the dogs are not vaccinated. Dogs with kennel cough often are not able to be adopted while they’re sick, and can be at greater risk for euthanasia. But you can help.

It costs only $2.50 to vaccinate a dog and potentially save his or her life. Join our cause today and ask your Facebook friends to make a donation in honor of Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog Month.

A $10 donation will help provide bordetella vaccines to four adoptable dogs. Donate $25 and you’ll more than double your reach by helping 10 dogs! You can help keep dogs like Buckeye healthy and adoptable until they find their forever homes.
