Tulip is a beautiful white canary with touches of red on her face and shoulder. She makes soft little chirping sounds.
When her cage is approached, she seems to get a little anxious at first, jumps from perch to perch and calls out.
Her cage is by a window in her foster home and she seems to like looking outside at the wild birds. We would love to adopt Tulip out to a home with another female canary so she can have a buddy.
Tulip is on a seed and pellet mixture. Of course, she does love her millet treat as well. She also loves taking a bath.
Tulip is being fostered in Manalapan, NJ and will require an
in-person visit before adoption; we do not ship our adoptable birds.
For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA.
As our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes, we only allow approved adopters to make the required visits.
