AnyBehaviorIssues :
Stella was a rescue so I don't know her early history. I was told she was about 6 months old when I took her. She was not hand tamed but with time and patience I was able to get her to perch on my finger and hang out on my shoulder. She would even fall asleep in the crook of my neck. Unfortunately, she does not do well with kids and a hectic household.
Reason :
I have 4 rambunctious and busy kids along with several other birds who are very friendly, but they all seem to stress her out so she just prefers to stay in her cage and does not want to interact with them or even stay with me anymore. She just prefers being in her cage. I have learned that she is more stressed out when she is out of her cage than when she is in her cage. Unfortunately, I don't have the time that she deserves. When she is in her cage, she is happy, tweets, takes baths and loves her chop and sunflower seeds. She is a beautiful shade of blue and that was the first reason I fell in love with her. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to be with her every day to train her properly and she needs attention on a daily basis if you want to teach her tricks or get her to trust you. It will take alot of love, time and patience so if you feel that you fit this description, please inquire. I will not give her away unless I am absolutely sure that she will be placed in a home that will not give up on her. Thank you.
