Raffa is a 19-year old male Harlequin Macaw. He's not a screamer; he's intelligent and a quick learner. Raffa would do much better with a female owner--he prefer females. Can say hello.

Notes from Owner
:
Raffa came to me from a home that did not know how to take care of a large bird like him. It took a few month for him to settle in. Now he is curious, wants attention and affection. Definitely need a female owner. Loves my wife who does not care about him at all. Puts up with me who takes care of him every day. He is on a seed mixture (Vita Parrot) diet. I give him extra peanuts in the shell. He loves it. Also grapes, orange, apple, banana, pear pieces plus veggies in a separate bowl. He loves that too. I think he never flew (he was clipped badly) so he does not know that he can. So you might want to keep him unclipped. He is a very good bird with no bad habits and no plucking. He wanted to bite me initially, but with quick correction from me he gave that up and now I can touch him on the beak. He needs a Mommy who will love him and give him the attention he deserves.
