Meet Pekoe
Pekoe is a Scarlet Macaw who is believed to be female. She is not DNA tested. She lived with another macaw, Cricket (Blue and Gold), for nearly her entire life. The two are not bonded and will be adopted out separately.
Pekoe is very sweet and outgoing. She loves to be handled and pet. She is great at talking and enjoys telling you everything she knows when she is excited. When she is not interested in you she will be more reserved and quiet, and sometimes standoffish. Because she has such a large, outgoing personality, we would prefer that her adopter have big bird experience (Amazons/Greys or larger).
Pekoe is not very food-motivated, but is attention-motivated. Come in and meet this sweetheart by filling out an adoption questionnaire, found under the Adopt tab.
