Meet Mimi

Little Mimi, another victim of the pigeon racing industry, was lucky to land in a caring family's back yard in the middle of Illinois during a race or "training flight." She was so exhausted, hungry and thirsty that the family was able to lure her to the ground with the promise of nourishment and catch her while she was wolfing down the food they had left out for her. Thankfully she was unscathed and proved to be a mild mannered, sweet girl. She is hoping that at the end of her long journey a forever home is waiting for her to settle into and live a wonderful life as part of a patient, loving family.
