About

- Special needs. Milagro is missing his right foot, but he doesn't let that slow him down; he has no trouble climbing around his cage. It does mean that he can't hold food to eat it, so it does help to crack nuts for him so he can open them easily by holding them against the food bowl or perch.
Petfinder recommends that you should always take reasonable security steps before making online payments.
Meet Milagro
Milagro is a one-footed Blue & Gold Macaw found flying around a Jacksonville neighborhood. After quarantine and testing, He has a received clean bill of health from an avian vet. He appears to be an older bird, possibly a former breeder. So far, he is very wary of human contact other than sometimes taking favorite foods from a hand. He needs a home with someone who can be patient with him. He might get better about people with time, but could always be a hands-off bird. He does seem to enjoy having other macaws around, though!
