Meet Cara and Boba
Cara and Boba came in together and will only be adopted out as a pair; they will not be adopted out individually. They are not hand tamed, but most likely could be with time and dedication. They do not bite and are not aggressive in any way, they are just nervous of people and will take some care and patience to build up trust.
They are very beautiful and their sweet sounds sing of a brighter spring to come.

While we do allow out of state adoptions, the adopter must be able to travel to Charlottesville, Virginia and meet in person at an agreed upon time to take their new birds home. GDU does ask a minimum adoption donation of $25 for the pair. This is a minimum donation and does not cover all expenses as we are funded solely by the angels and volunteers willing to donate time and finances. This minimum donation does not even begin to cover the actual expenses each animal has while in rescue, but does go directly towards vet care for our rescue animals.
