Meet Kaya

Hi, I am Kaya. I am a female Lesser Sulfur Crested Cockatoo. My age is about 25 years old. I came to BNW several years ago when my owner became ill. I was adopted, but my new family had to move to an apartment and cockatoos aren't quiet birds. They had to make the sad decision to return me after 5 years. I was nervous at first in my foster home, but quickly settled in. I do well with both men and women, I just like plenty of attention. I am not always friendly to other birds, so I need to be closely supervised. I may get jealous of them. Diet: Zupreem pellets, fruits & veggies, nuts or seeds as treats. Adoption fee: $750.

We do not ship or trade birds. We do not adopt birds out for breeding. A contract is required at the time of adoption. Adoption fees are not refundable, except as stated in the contract.
