Meet Forest

Hi! I am Forest and I am a female Quaker Parakeet, I am about 8 years old. I came to BNW when my owner developed a severe lung condition and couldn't keep me. I had been plucking my feathers when she got me and I never lost the habit. I am a nice bird, I am friendly and I step up well. I enjoy my toys, but need time to adjust to new ones. I will make a good companion for the right person who can look past the missing feathers and see the real me. I need some special care because I can't spread my wings all the way and I need to be protected from falling. Diet: Pellets, fruits & veggies, nuts or seeds as treats. Adoption fee: $450.
