Meet Dude
Meet Dude! He’s a funny quirky Quaker parrot, about 8 - 10 years old. He loves his head scratched, listening to music, giving kisses, and just hanging out with his people. He enjoys spending most of his time out of his cage and perching on the top of it. He is nervous of running water and will let you know it by peeping loudly. He prefers a water bowl to bathe in. He’s not a big fan of toys yet, but I believe he’ll come around once you find exactly what he likes. He can step up on your finger or a stick. He does ok with cats around him and his cage. He enjoys men and women but doesn’t love young kids. He is very gentle when warning someone of things he doesn’t like. He prefers not to have his cage covered at night and does really well quieting down between 7-8 pm. He can be territorial of his cage when warming up to new people. This went away in 2 days for us. He will warm up very quickly. He is a wonderful bird.
Comes with cage & carrier. Vet check normal, adoption fee $620 + $30 membership. Must be within driving distance of Salt Lake City.
