Meet Amos
Amos is a sweet 16 year old DNA Sexed female Congo African Grey. She loves having scratches on her head. She does very well with baths from a misting bottle. Amos is enjoying a varied diet of Harrison’s pellets, grains, veggies, sweet potatoes. She enjoys chewing her wood and string toys and climbing all over the top of her cage. She was formerly fully flighted in her previous home but even though clipped now she has strong flight muscles. Amos needs a quiet home without young children.
Amos has had a well-bird veterinary exam which includes a physical exam, blood chemistries, and CBC (complete blood cell count,) and Psittacosis and PBFD tests (which came back as negative.) All tests have pointed to Amos being in good health.
Attendance at specific PEAC seminars is REQUIRED to be eligible to adopt a foster bird. We do not ship our birds and adopt only to our local Southern California area.
