Meet Amiga

Amiga is one of the sweetest macaws at the rescue! She plucked her feathers at another rescue due to a yeast infection (important to vet your birds) yet she has the sweetest, most beautiful face with a personality to match. She doesn’t show well due to be nervous but given a chance she is awesome. Amiga is food motivated, stations by her food bowl for treats, loves her toys and to cuddle.

Our adoption process is about multiple visits, we look for a connection between the bird and adopter(s), a home visit is a must.
